Keighley Football Referees Onside with Hospice Fundraising

Parts of members’ annual subscriptions are contributed as a way of thanking the Riddlesden & Morton United Services Club, or Applegarth, where meetings are held for free. Raffles are also staged when guest speakers attend with recent speakers having included Premier League referee Bobby Madley and English Football League referees Andy Madley and David Coote.

Liv Moffat, community fundraiser at the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice, said: "What a great boost to our coffers! We're really grateful to the Keighley & District Referees' Association and the United Services Club for their kind and ongoing support. Each year Manorlands has to raise £2.3 million to provide services at and from the hospice. Donations such as these are vital to ensuring the services continue."
