Reg Allwood Charity Fixture

Last June we said goodbye to not only a legend of grassroots football, but a legend of a man too.

On June 21^st last year we were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our Director and friend Reg Allwood.

Reg was an amazing man who was known by everyone in grassroots football and the staff and volunteers at West Riding FA were deeply saddened by the loss.

Unfortunately, Reg’s funeral took place with Covid-19 restrictions still in place with lots of people unable to attend and pay their respects.

With it coming up to a years anniversary of Reg’s passing, we are delighted to release the following details regarding a highly anticipated charity fixture in his name.

• Sunday 7^th August
• West Riding FA, Fleet Lane, Woodlesford, LS26 8NX
• 1:30pm KO
• FREE entry but donation big and small welcome to Overgate Hospice
• Former U16 Rep Squad Manager Mark Swales' band will be performing
