West Riding County FA takes the Safeguarding and Welfare of the children affiliated to our Leagues very seriously and the introduction of the ID cards ensures that the County and all club personnel adhere to the FA’s Safer Recruitment Policy and that they have hold an accepted & valid DBS disclosure.
Upon receipt of a completed disclosure from TMGCRB, applicants need to complete a WRCFA ID Card application form and attach a passport sized photo if it is the first time you have applied for an ID card.
If the card is a renewal, you still need to complete the WRCFA ID card application but do not need to send a photo. Please pass your completed ID card application to your Club Welfare Officer.
Once the WRCFA ID card has been processed it will be then sent to your Club Welfare Officer.
FA best practice states that Enhanced DBS disclosures should be renewed every three years. West Riding County FA adopt best practice at all times and therefore require all those involved in youth football to renew their WRCFA ID card every three years once you have received your new DBS disclosure.
ID cards are free, replacement ID cards are charged at £5.
Please note - all volunteers (coach, manager, CWO) involved in youth football must have a valid ID card. Registered referees who officiate in youth football must also have a WRCFA ID card.
