Countdown For The 13 Clubs Without A Qualified Welfare Officer!

Countdown for the 13 clubs without a Qualified Welfare Officer!

13 Clubs without a qualified Welfare Officer are subject to an Action Plan to appoint a Welfare Officer by the 15th December to avoid suspension. FA Rules are clear that all youth clubs must have a qualified Welfare Officer in place.

There are four mandatory requirements the Welfare Officer needs in place for this role:

  • An accepted FA CRC.
  • Completed an FA Safeguarding Children Workshop.
  • Completion of the Welfare Officer Workshop.
  • Completed the Online Safeguarding for Committee Members course.

The safeguarding workshops and welfare officer workshops can be booked on the West Riding FA website, or alternatively by contacting lewis.dawson@westridingfa.com

There are two scheduled Welfare Workshops coming up 31/10/18 and 13/12/18.
