Ossett United Receive £149,155 Changing Room Grant
Ossett United have received £149,155 to help build new changing rooms at their Ingfield ground thanks to the Football Stadia Improvement Fund.
Andrew Shuttleworth, Facilities and Investment Manager at West Riding FA, said “The Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF) provides financial support to football clubs towards their ground improvement projects.
Funded by the Premier League, the FSIF awards capital grants to clubs from the FA National League System (Step 7 and above), to improve their stadium facilities for players, officials and spectators and to enable them to satisfy The FA’s ground grading requirements.”
Phil Smith, Chief Executive at Ossett United, said “Behind the scenes we are working tirelessly to push this club to the next level. Securing this funding is vital to our progression and now allows us to make some much needed changes to our facilities.
