Season 2020-21 Membership Fees Update
In response to the challenges created by the Covid-19 pandemic, and to assist with the ‘return to football’ approach, West Riding FA have discounted all club, league and competition membership fees by 100% for the forthcoming season.
For the 2020-21 season, the following discounts are applicable to all affiliated clubs operating at Step 1 and below.

Category 4: Youth Club: Clubs which only have Youth teams (U7 – U18)

Discounts are applicable to all re-affiliating clubs/teams/competitions and all new clubs/teams/competitions.
The requirements with respect to Public Liability Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance are unchanged. We are currently reviewing the insurance products and associated premiums with the insurers and are hopeful that a reduction in premiums will be achieved. Further details with respect to Public Liability and Personal Accident costs within the coming weeks.
Subject to agreement of the Football Association, the club affiliation window will open in June 2020. All existing clubs will be sent an affiliation guide which will include the following;
- Whole Game System Affiliation Video Tutorial
- Whole Game System user guide containing a step by step process on how to apply for affiliation and highlighting the key changes to the 2020-21 affiliation requirements.
West Riding FA will continue to lobby on behalf of our membership to achieve whole scale cost reductions across the game, including, but not limited to, kit and equipment, first aid and facility costs.
