Many people have fond memories of Laurie often stating when they called to see him, he would have a good natter about football before they went on their way. Laurie was a knowledgeable man and was passionate about the Huddersfield Junior League. Laurie’s work in developing football in West Yorkshire and the Huddersfield JFL will always be remembered.
