Many people have fond memories of Laurie often stating when they called to see him, he would have a good natter about football before they went on their way. Laurie was a knowledgeable man and was passionate about the Huddersfield Junior League. Laurie’s work in developing football in West Yorkshire and the Huddersfield JFL will always be remembered.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone at Huddersfield Junior League at this sad time.
