Supported by the Football Foundation, The FA and Sport England, the Premier League Defibrillator Fund will be rolled out in two phases, benefitting more than 2,000 sites.

The Premier League Defibrillator Fund will support the installation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and External Storage Cabinets at thousands of grassroots football facilities currently without an easily accessible device on site. 

Rolled out across two phases, the Fund will see more than 2,000 sites benefit from this investment, with the first 1,000 units delivered in time for the start of the 2021/22 season. Once installed, the AEDs will be accessible, if required, to an estimated 1.5m people that use these facilities per season.

Going forward, the Premier League is working with partners at The FA and Sport England to ensure that facilities funded by the Football Foundation incorporate this equipment in the future.
