Yellow Armband For Newly Qualified Referees Set To Launch

Newly qualified Referees will now be offered a yellow armband to wear on match days to signify they’re still in the early stages of their development.

This campaign will run alongside our existing Purple Shirt Campaign for U18 Match Officials.

The armband will be offered to those 18+ who have completed The FA Basic Referees Course with us for free of charge and the purple shirt will remain offered to those under-18.

We are in the process of creating posters and digital assets for clubs, leagues and facility providers to help promote the new campaign ahead of these going out after our next Referees course.
