Nutrition For Junior Footballers CPD
The 2-hour session will be interactive and will include lots of insights and practical tips around fuelling your players.
Some of the content will include:
- Factors that need to be considered with junior and youth athletes
- How players can better understand their hydration needs
- Nutrition before and after a game
- Half time nutrition
- Delivered by Anne-Marie Bunyan from AB Nutrition
This face-to-face event will be held at West Riding FA, Fleet Lane, Woodlesford, LS26 8NX on Monday 20th June (6:30pm - 8:30pm).
Anne-Marie is an SENr Registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist and a UK Anti-Doping Advisor.
Having worked in the nutrition field for 15 years; over the last couple of years her practice has leaned towards working with adults and youth athletes to help them to understand how to eat for athletic performance.
This involves working within schools and sports clubs delivering practical sessions as well as directly with parents and their children on a one-to one basis.
The energy needs of young athletes can be greatly increased because of their level of activity as well as to accommodate growth.
Anne-Marie helps young people to understand what they need to eat to support training, recovery, and their sporting events.
