With the approval of Leeds District FA (LDFA), the Garforth Junior League, West Yorkshire League and Leeds Combination League will manage the youth, open age (Saturday) and Open Age (Sunday) competitions respectively for season 2023-24 (formally delivered by LDFA).

At a meeting of LDFA and the leagues on 23rd August 2023, the following was agreed: 

- For season 23-24 the LDFA Cup Rules shall not apply. Each league shall apply their own League Cup Competition Rules.  

- Each league shall apply the fine tariff applicable to their own League Cup Competition Rules.

- Entry fees shall remain the same as charged by LDFA in season 22-23. Entry fees to be paid directly to the league responsible for the competition. 

- Each league shall invite entry applications between Friday 1st September - Thursday 14th September. Invitations shall be issued to the Club Secretary of eligible clubs. 

- Round 1 fixtures to take place on the 15th & 21st October 2023.
