Sowing the seeds for success!
On Tuesday 28 November, we hosted our second 'Grass Pitch Improvement' workshop within the last three months.
This was delivered by Chris Hunter (GMA), focusing on the topic of In-Season Grass Pitch Maintenance.
A huge thank you to the 17 club volunteers who attended the session. Some really useful discussions took place and it is always good to see volunteers sharing their own knowledge and experiences to help each other out.
This follows on from our Grass Pitch Maintenance Machinery workshop that took place in September at Rothwell Juniors Football Club. This was another very well-attended event highlighting the impact that good quality machinery can have on your grass pitches.
We are working extremely hard to try and improve the quality of grass pitches across the region and it is only through the support and hard work of the volunteers we work with that we are able to do so. We recognise that there is still a long way to go, but thank you so much for your efforts so far.
