England celebrate a Chloe Kelly (centre) goal at St. George's Park

Under 16s

With two junior leagues offering provision from U7's through to U16's to over 2000 players, opportunities for girls to get involved in football has never been so strong in the West Riding.

In the West Riding there are two junior leagues for girls - The West Riding Girls League and The Harrogate & District Junior Girls League. Both leagues have worked tirelessly over the past seasons to increase the number of girls playing in their leagues, with the offer of free to enter galas at the U7 to U11 age groups contributing to their growth.

The Craven Junior League have recently taken on a new project to create a girls section in their league. To kick-start this, they offer free to enter fun sessions for girls aged 5-11 every third Sunday of the month at Marley Stadium, Keighley.
