Centre of Refereeing Excellence
The West Riding County CORE programme is designed to provide referees with the oportunity to develop and enhance their skills in becoming competent officials.
Those chosen referees to make up the County CORE programme will receive fortnightly training sessions, of which including practical and theoretical coaching headed up by Mark Haywood (West Riding RDO) & Andy Madley (Professional Referee). Sessions will include physical training interventions as well as classroom based learning, personal coaching and mentoring meetings, nutritional support as well as high profile guest speakers.
The FA's Respect programme provides a series of tools for leagues, clubs, coaches, players and parents from grassroots to elite football - to help ensure a safe, positive environment in which to play the game.
You must be a promotion candidate between levels 7 & 4. Officiate regular Saturday football, Attend LOTG test. Pass a fitness assessment and pass an interview. prepared to mentor new referees. Attend CPD events. Understand and follow all West Riding CFA policies.
